Centre for new technologies in Technical school has been open since 5th April 2004. Its purpose is to provide obligatory education to students of mechanical engineering and electrotechnics, permanent education of teachers and vocational retraining and additional training for citizens.
Tasks of Centre for new technologies are:
- quality training and upskilling of technicians attending Technical school
- quality training and upskilling of technicians of other vocational schools through provision of in-training in our Centre
- permanent education of teachers
- provision of practice for gaining specific professional knowledge
- additional training of attenders from manufacturing companies
- vocational retraining of attenders sent by the Employment agency
- in-service training in form of specialized tailored trainings for employees in manufacturing companies
Centre for new technologies has 6 specialized areas with specialized equipment:
- cabinet for CNC machining production centre
- cabinet for practical training for hydraulics and pneumatics, electro-pneumatics, sensors, computer aided process management and automatic regulation
- cabinet for training on CNC lathe and milling machines, 3D printing and 3D scanning
- cabinet for Auto CAD 2D, CATIA (3D) and Inventor (3D) designing
- cabinet for school’s robot programming and operating
- cabinet for hand-operated treatments of metal
