About the project
The purpose of the project is to explore the environment in which we live in a way that we learn the legends and myths of our region. Get acquainted with the culture of your region, as well as the culture of other regions from which the partner schools come. Present the research results in the way of your choice (video, poster, webinar, speech).

Goals
Students will be able to: define the steps of research work, describe and learn what is meant by the terms legends and myths, share information about legends and myths of their region, communicate and collaborate with other participants and their environment, develop critical thinking and problem solving skills, develop research skills.
In terms of behavior, they will develop: a sense of responsibility, creative thinking, critical thinking, research work, cultural awareness, civic education, information literacy, communication skills, creative work.
Aims
1. Getting to know the cultural features of other places.
2. Exploring your area/region and presenting it.
3. Introducing students to research work and information literacy and their application.
Working procedure
Students will inquire and explore the legends and myths of their region in collaboration with people from their environment.
Working with your partner on daily basis.
Each school that joins the project will form its own team and determine what it will do and how it will explore the legends and myths of its region.
The calendar of activities:
October 25th 2021- November 10th 2021: research myths and legends
November 11th 2021- December 23rd 2021: creating researched content and presenting it on the Twinspace of the eTwinning platform.
Students will research the information for their work, devise how to present the work and do a presentation of it. The number of legends and myths per school is not limited. The more the merrier.
Expected results
ll implemented activities are published on the public Twinspace in front of the project manager in each school, and each school will publish its activities on its website and social networks.
Students gained additional knowledge about research work and information literacy. They expanded their knowledge of research and creative work. Students are aware of how much research work helps them progress, how important communication is for their lives and knowledge of their end. They additionally got to know the community in which they live in.
With this project we helped to promote the written word and to promote the spoken word. We encouraged the deepening of several types of literacy and brought together the community and society to our school and other schools. We met various cultures and ways of communication in other countries and regions of our beautiful country.
